Chuck Blossom - Executive Director
|
Chuck has been associated with BCI since 1982. Initially as a customer to his automotive tool company, American Pneumatic Technologies Inc., utilizing BCI's capabilities to assemble trigger sub-assemblies used in the manufacturing of his product. He then served both as a member of the Board of Directors and as its chair over the ensuing 18 years. In May of 2000, he was appointed BCI's Executive Director. Chuck's for-profit work experience with the Black and Decker Manufacturing Company, The Stanley Works, and owning and managing his own company prior to it's acquisition prepared him well for implementing and managing the unique business model successfully employed by BCI in adhering to it's mission.

Tom Barratt - Sales Manager
|
A graduate from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Tom credits the adults with disabilities employed by BCI with setting the standard for excellence in commitment, productivity, attendance, attitude, growth, customer retention, and joy in the workplace. "This hard-working group of dedicated employees has taught me much about relationships and concern for one another. Their production capacity is simply amazing. If I can get a prospective customer to visit our facility and see the high activity level, we nearly always are awarded prospective contracts."
Realizing the rapidly changing environment in the packaging industry, Tom keeps abreast by attending sustainability seminars through the Contract Packaging Association and membership to the Institute of Packaging Professionals.

Becky Greening - Employment Services Director
|
Becky joined BCI in 2008 to head up a new division at BCI called the Career Employment Center. This new tier of service will direct and place applicants in jobs suitable to their skills and their personal goals. Prior to BCI, Becky was employed with Life Skills as the Director of Employment. She has a Masters degree in Social Work from St. Louis University and a B.S. in Counseling from Liberty University. She is also a member of professional organizations including the Advocacy Committee of Lutheran Family and Children Services of Missouri, the St. Charles Coalition of Service Providers, and the Legislative Committee.

Donna Horton - Production Manager
|
Donna joined BCI in 1980 as a Production Supervisor. She was promoted to Production Manager within her first 6 months of employment, and continues to serve BCI in this position. As the Production Manager, Donna is responsible for each production line and ensuring employees are properly acclimated to their job duties. The employees have always been Donna's main concern.

Stacy Lockwood - Program Manager
|
Stacy joined BCI in 1993 and is currently serving as the Program Manager. With extensive knowledge of CARF, DESE, and DOL standards as it relates to the industry, she is responsible for managing the disabled workforce during the daily operations of BCI's facility based program and the Community Employment Opportunity program. Stacy is also responsible for reporting the outcomes and achievements of employee support programs. Stacy graduated from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, IA with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Human Services.

Susan Paulus - Quality and Logistics Manager
|
Susan joined BCI in 2002 and has served in various roles including Quality, Process Control, and Logistics Management. Prior to BCI, Susan held a range of production and quality management positions at Reckitt Benckiser, Applied Extrusion Technologies and Hallmark Cards Manufacturing. This experience in packaging and consumer products manufacturing is complimented by a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, a Certified Quality Engineer certificate, and a background in ISO compliance.

Vicki Whiteside - Human Resources Manager
|
Vicki joined BCI in 2006, bringing with her 28 years of Human Resources experience in manufacturing environments. Prior to joining BCI, she was employed by Hunter Engineering Company, Lear Seating Corporation, Schultz Company and Spectrum Brands. Vicki received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Truman State University (formerly Northeast Missouri State University).
