The Associates of Boone Center, otherwise known as the ABC Group, is comprised of a group of parents, guardians and friends of BCI employees. The group began in the early seventies and is dedicated to supporting BCI and all of its employees.
The ABC Group hosts fun events for the employees every year including the May Day dance, the Halloween luncheon and the Christmas party. Providing games, prizes, gifts, and other needed items, this group is a vital part of BCI and its mission to provide opportunities for adults with disabilities.
To fund their activities, the ABC Group holds several fundraisers each year including the Butter Braid® sale each fall and the Christmas raffle each December.
The ABC Group meets every other month to discuss employee concerns, how to better BCI, and how to provide important social networking opportunities for employees and their families. There are no membership dues.
