Job Openings
Our mission is to inspire and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, challenging personal growth and development through a continuum of innovative employment opportunities. This commitment keeps us moving in many directions and requires a talented and varied team.
Under our organizational program, we employ and support approximately 250 individuals at BCI Packaging, a for-purpose contract packager of consumer-ready goods.
At the end of the day, everything we do aligns with our vision—creating a world where disabilities are no longer barriers to achieving potential and purpose in meaningful work. We operate with integrity, positivity, respect, accountability, innovation, service, and empathy. If our mission and values resonate with you, we encourage you to apply today.
We are currently looking for qualified applicants for the following positions:
In order to qualify for some specific staff positions, you must meet certain skill and education requirements. BCI may also require the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
SUMMER TEEN WORK EXPERIENCE
We offer six-week summer employment programs for young adults with disabilities. These are supported, real-world “first job” experiences paired with essential soft skills training. Participating in these programs helps teens decide whether part- or full-time employment is something they want to pursue after high school graduation. For more information on our summer teen work experiences, call 636-875-5264.
BENEFITS
We do our best as a team to celebrate the progress that our company and our employees make. Part of fully recognizing our appreciation is offering benefits that are rewarding, beneficial, and cost-effective for our employees.
Generally, employees and staff are eligible for:
-
403(b) Retirement Savings Plan
-
Paid Time Off
-
Paid Holidays
-
Performance and Recognition Programs
-
Group Insurance Plans
As with every aspect of BCI, we recognize that different team members may have different needs in order to fully benefit from our services. Employees working in Organizational Employment tend to have different requirements for group insurance because of benefits provided through other sources, such as Medicare, Medicaid and/or programs for which they qualify. BCI pays for certain benefits; others are on a cost-share basis through payroll deduction. Some benefit programs have a waiting period for participation.
Available benefits and eligibility requirements will be reviewed during the interview and placement process. BCI also offers benefits case management services free of charge through the BCI Skills Center. Benefit programs may be added or modified at the discretion of BCI.
BCI IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
It is the policy of BCI to provide equal employment opportunities through a positive, continuing program. BCI will not discriminate against any staff member or applicant for employment with regard to compensation, terms, conditions or privileges of employment because of race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, religion, disability, military status, or any other status protected by law.
