Senior Quality Auditor

The Senior Quality Auditor is responsible for daily auditing of BCI’s products and processes to ensure compliance to customer specifications. Duties include completing proper documentation and effective communication of audit findings.

Duties:

  • Perform finished goods quality audits as required to ensure product meets requirements as specified by the customer and enter finished goods quality audits into the database

  • Perform internal audits and cGMP audits to ensure compliance to food safety and quality processes as required, while ensuring BCI is in compliance to customer quality requirements

  • During internal audits, suggest changes to processes and procedures as needed

  • Communicate findings in a timely and effective manner to Quality Manager and Production

  • Updating Item Specifications for clarification

  • Perform finished goods inspections on outsourced product to ensure it meets customer requirements and document results

  • Comply with all SQF/ISO procedures and policies and responsible to report food safety problems

  • Follow all policies and procedures established by the company

  • Light traveling to/from both BCI facilities as well as BCI outsourcing facilities

  • Perform other duties as directed

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 years’ experience in warehouse/manufacturing setting and has experience in QA auditing, shipping and receiving. Proficient in the use of MRP systems, such as Nulogy or SAP is a plus. Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is preferred. ISO experience is a plus.
