Production Line Worker
The Line Worker performs a variety of duties in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Examples of Duties:
Assemble products with or without common hand tools
Package and repackage product
Handle and move materials as directed, including individual and team lifting
Report safety concerns and other concerns promptly to supervisor on duty
Conform with operating procedures and employment manuals
Provide general labor
Perform other related duties as directed by the supervision
High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Must be able to follow and retain directions.
Good communication skills required.
Attentiveness to detail required.
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Employee is frequently required to stoop or kneel and occasionally required to sit to perform the duties of the job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work is performed continuously in a warehouse or manufacturing environment that may or may not be climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Employee may be exposed to a wide range of environmental temperatures while performing work.
