Privacy Policy

BCI's Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard information obtained via our web site and to help you make informed decisions when using our site. This statement will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and our clients' needs.

What Information Do We Collect?
If you are merely a visitor to this site, BCI does not collect any personal information about you, except to the limited extent through the use of cookies, described below. Here are the circumstances in which we collect information:

1. Information You Choose to Provide

Emails - If you choose to communicate with BCI through info@boonecenter.com or another e-mail address listed on our site, we will respond to your return email address as appropriate. We will not sell or share your e-mail address to/with any outside person or entity.

Employment inquiries - Should you apply for a position with BCI online, your information will be forwarded to the appropriate office and reviewer and may be entered into the firm's databases.

We provide the same protections for electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone.

2. Web Site Use Information
Similar to other commercial web sites, our web site uses a standard technology called "cookies" and web server logs to collect information about how our web site is used. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may be used to customize web page content based on visitors' browser type and platform, include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our web site and the web sites visited just before and just after our web site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis and not associated with you as an individual.

How Do We Secure Information Transmissions?
Our web site includes links to services that are hosted external to BCI's information systems infrastructure (such as registration for events, online donations, etc.). Users that have been set up to access personal information via internally hosted services do so via a secure server and transport protocol that encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our web site. We are not responsible for the practices employed by web sites linked to or from our web site nor the information or content contained therein.

Please remember that when you use a link to go from our web site to another web site, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect.  Your browsing and interaction on any other web site, including web sites that have a link on our web site, is subject to that web site's own rules and policies.  Please read over those rules and policies before proceeding.

Our Commitment to Our Donors
We will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by BCI, both online and offline, on any Platform ("Platform", includes the BCI website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Your Consent
By using our web site, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.  If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post the changes on our web site to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it.

Children's Privacy Protection
This site is not designed for or intentionally targeted at children.  It is not BCI's policy to knowingly collect or maintain information about minors, and we ask that minors not submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you may use this site only in conjunction with a parent or legal guardian.

Changes to the Policy
BCI may change this policy as needed and without notice. From time to time, we may use visitor information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will use, for these new purposes only, data collected from the time of the policy change forward.

Opting-out, Corrections & Cancelations
Upon written request, BCI will (1) remove your name and other personal information from our databases; (2) correct personal information that you state is incorrect or (3) permit you to "opt out" of further e-mail contact. To request a correction or cancellation, please contact us at info@boonecenter.com.
