BCI-LC and Community Opportunities to Host MO ABLE Presentation on Nov. 13
Please join Community Opportunities and BCI on November 13th for a presentation on the new MO ABLE accounts.
MO ABLE allows qualifying individuals to open tax-advantaged accounts used to pay for the specific costs of living with a disability. The accounts are tax advantaged because, when used for a qualified expense, the money in a MO ABLE account is not taxed at the federal or Missouri level. This means that money in a MO ABLE account can be deposited, invested, grown, and properly used all without any tax consequence.
Date/Time: Monday, November 13th at 6:00 p.m.
Location: BCI Packaging, 245 College Campus Dr., Moscow Mills 63362
Presenter: Drew Dziedzic with the Missouri State Treasurer’s office
RSVP: Angela Hager, angela@commopps.org, 636-462-7695 ext. 101 OR Katie Jones, kjones@bcipackaging.com, 636-875-5219
Who Should Attend? All parents, guardians, self-advocates, case managers or agencies that support people with disabilities who want to save money (similar to a savings account) and not have it affect state benefits.
