BCI Featured in Manufacturing Today Magazine
BCI has been featured in the November/December issue of Manufacturing Today. The trade magazine’s 109,000+ readers are high-ranking officials in the largest and most successful manufacturing companies across North America.
“Our social mission of employing adults with disabilities was, is and will always be the heart of BCI,” said BCI CEO Tony Spielberg. “But our team, comprised of people of all ability levels, also makes up one extraordinary and legitimate contract packaging company. We are honored and excited to be featured in a national trade publication.”
BCI employs 400 adults with disabilities at its packaging facilities in St. Peters and Moscow Mills and through its competitive employment programs. A major advocate at the state and federal level for employment opportunities and choice, BCI will open a first-of-its kind vocational training facility designed for those living with developmental and intellectual disabilities in summer 2018.
“We jump at every chance to tell our story and expand our network because these jobs are making a difference in people’s lives and in the lives of their families,” added Spielberg, “BCI is driven by the social mission and fueled by the business mission. The more we can grow, the more we can serve.”

In July, BCI also became a member of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and is one of only a handful of member firms that employ adults with disabilities. NAM is the largest manufacturing association in the United States, representing small and large manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50 states.
