BCI will host its 11th Annual Behind the Mask Gala featuring a “Denim and Diamonds” theme on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at The Foundry Art Centre, St. Charles. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the event officially kicking off at 7 p.m.
Behind the Mask celebrates the people doing great things behind the scenes to ensure that adults living with disabilities have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
At the gala, BCI will honor both Chuck Blossom and Barb Griffith with its Loving Hands Award. This award honors an individual, business or organization that has made a significant difference in the lives of our employees over the years.
Blossom served as BCI's CEO from 2000-2013 and raised the bar for how adults with disabilities can find success in manufacturing. He propelled BCI and continues to support similar organizations providing employment to adults with disabilities by sharing his expertise as a consultant.
Griffith is the current President and CEO of Community Living, Inc. and is known as a positive, energetic advocate for children and adults with disabilities. Community Living provides children and adults with services and programs to allow them to live, learn and work in our community.
Tickets to Behind the Mask are $75 each and include drinks, heavy appetizers, attendance prizes, a silent auction, and entertainment by local favorite, the Rough Ryders. With the “Denim and Diamonds” theme, attendees are encouraged to be creative with a country western flair and enjoy the comfort of wearing casual and formal wear together.
Tickets may be purchased online at www.boonecenter.com or in person at BCI St. Peters, 200 Trade Center Dr., 63376. Reserved tables of 10 may also be purchased for $750. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. For more information on sponsorships or tickets, call Don Rothermich at 636-875-5267.
