Golf to Support Vocational Training for People with Disabilities on October 15

BCI is seeking golfers and sponsors for the return of its fundraiser golf tournament on Monday, October 15. The event will take place at the newly reconstructed Bogey Hills Country Club in St. Charles, with a shotgun start at noon.

Appropriately named the Vocational Invitational, all proceeds from the event will benefit the Skills Center, BCI's first-of-its-kind vocational training center for people with disabilities opening this winter.

Tony Spielberg, CEO of BCI, is thrilled for the return of the golf tournament and its potential to increase awareness of the Skills Center.

“Bringing the golf tournament back to help kick off the opening of the Skills Center was an easy decision,” said Spielberg. “We are thrilled to spend the day with the players and sponsors, and we look forward to experiencing the newly reconstructed Bogey Hills Country Club.”

Registration is $200 per golfer. The format is a four-person scramble with prizes for the top flight finishers. Each golfer will also receive lunch and dinner, tee gifts, course drinks, the chance to win fun competitions, and two drinks with dinner.

“With the opening of the Skills Center, we thought there would be no better time to give people in the community a chance to ‘chip in’,” said Jim Lang, President of BCI’s Board of Directors. “Be a difference maker and join us!”

Golfers may register online at www.boonecenter.com/golf. The deadline for registration is August 31.

In addition, BCI is also seeking corporate sponsors for the event, with sponsorships ranging from $150 to $5,000. Sponsors may also register online at www.boonecenter.com/golf.
