BCI Golf Tournament on Oct. 7 Will Honor Jim Lang
Join like-minded leaders in support of BCI with the Lang family on Monday, October 7, 2019.
Boone Center, Inc. (BCI) is seeking golfers, sponsors, and donors for its annual golf tournament on Monday, October 7. The event will honor the late Jim Lang who served on BCI’s board of directors for 10 years and was its president when he passed away unexpectedly last September.
The tournament will take place at Bogey Hills Country Club in St. Charles. All proceeds will benefit BCI and its mission to enrich the lives of adults with disabilities and their families by providing a choice of fulfilling work along a continuum of employment opportunities.
“Jim was a trusted adviser and true friend, and much of our recent success is due to his strategic leadership,” said Tony Spielberg, BCI CEO. “We are grateful to the Lang family for their earnestness in honoring Jim this way.”
Registration for the Jim Lang Memorial is $200 per golfer. The format is a four-person scramble with cash prizes for the top finishers. Each golfer will also receive a box lunch and heavy hors d’oeuvres dinner, tee gifts, on-course drinks, the chance to win fun games and competitions, and two drinks with dinner. Non-golfers can purchase a dinner-only ticket for $50.
“Supporting the Jim Lang Memorial Golf Tournament shows that you share Jim’s passion for creating purposeful employment opportunities for people with disabilities,” added Spielberg.
Golfers may register online at https://one.bidpal.net/bcigolf.
BCI is also seeking corporate sponsors, with sponsorships ranging from $250 to $5,000. For more information, visit www.boonecenter.com/golf or contact Niki at nlane@boonecenter.com or 636-875-5244.
