Most hard-working employees know when to expect their paycheck and the basics of budgeting and spending—but for individuals receiving Social Security, there are additional challenges.

Many people who receive Social Security work part-time. Since taxes are taken out, many people believe that Social Security is aware of their earnings and do not report their income to the agency. Unfortunately, this small misunderstanding can lead to a much bigger problem.
