Boone Center, Inc. Adds Four New Board Members
Boone Center, Inc. (BCI)—a nonprofit that improves the lives of adults with disabilities through employment opportunities—recently named Katrina Fuller, Ghanshyam Mehta, Tom Muzzey and Cesar Paredes to its board of directors. Board members are eligible to serve two consecutive three-year terms.
Katrina Fuller is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Services at Compass Health Network and has been with the agency for 20 years in a variety of roles. Fuller has been active on several behavioral health boards and is a former vice president of the Brentwood School District school board. Her commitment to employment opportunities began as a child as she watched her older brother Rodney, a BCI employee for 30 years, look forward to his job every day.
Ghanshyam Mehta is the Vice President of Information Technology Business Operations at BJC Healthcare. Mehta’s career spans more than 25 years with leadership roles in the consumer products, chemical, retail, and healthcare industries. Mehta also currently serves on the board of trustees at Whitfield School in St. Louis.
Tom Muzzey recently retired as Superintendent of the Orchard Farm School District after a 33-year education career and is now Chief Executive Officer of BeLeaf Medical. Muzzey is a past president of Education Plus and the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce and has held other board leadership roles with Vantage Credit Union and AASA, The School Superintendents Association.
Cesar Paredes is the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at BJC Healthcare and has been with the organization for ten years in various communication and marketing roles. Paredes also serves on the board for Casa de Salud, a medical and mental health services organization that focuses on new immigrants and refugees who face barriers to accessing health care.
“BCI’s commitment to serve adults with disabilities starts with an active and engaged board,” said BCI CEO Troy Compardo. “We feel truly blessed to welcome these individuals who bring broad experience and expertise and an equal commitment to our mission.”
